Sad Clown

I've been reciting my favorite Lenny Bruce monologues to myself for days now and after searching youtube discovered a serious lack of his material. My favorite piece of his is his monologue on "what is versus what should be". I wanted to upload the audio clip from my boxset but its somewhere yet to be unpacked from the move. So, here are three of best clips from youtube. the first is just a small excerpt not the entire bit. the 2nd is from the movie Lenny starring Dustin Hoffman doing a different part of Lenny's "what is" monologue. Dustin Hoffman stays loyal to Lenny's material and does a pretty convincing word for word performance. The third is his famous all alone bit. Check it out
